Religious ablution (Ghusl)

Ghusl for the deceased in Islam symbolizes respect and purity in funeral rituals. This ritual washing, performed gender-specifically and with great care, is essential before burial. It reflects Islam’s emphasis on dignity and honor for the deceased, and is a profound part of the Muslim faith and tradition.
